Ben is well versed in dry stone walling, as well as brickwork!

My son, Ben, has started his Brickwork apprenticeship.

According to Preston college, Lancashire is short 20,000 bricklayers. 27 enrolled on his course. Assuming 1/3 drop out before the course ends, it will take 834 years to fill the vacancies.

I have seen several "Bricklayers Needed" signs on our travels today!

The NHBC states that the UK is short 180,000 bricklayers.
