Our Story
The Family Business
With Over 30 Years Experience
From humble beginnings to a thriving family business, Redman & Redman have the skills and experience to complete any project.
Carl Redman actually began this journey back in 1989, with a City and Guilds Bricklaying apprenticeship, which gave him a fantastic foundation in the construction industry, and began a lifelong passion for the trade.
From his apprenticeship, he then worked on numerous building sites and commmercial engineering projects right across the UK.
The late 1990’s saw Carl venture into self employment for the first time, with building and construction, property development and housing.
In the 2000’s Carl then added another string to his bow, with a teaching qualification from Blackburn College, enabling him to teach his beloved bricklaying.
During the building boom of the pandemic and lockdown, Redman & Redman Ltd was born, and Carl’s son Ben is now completing his own apprenticeship through Preston College.
The Redman Duo are going from strength to strength, taking on a multitude of projects, including but not limited to brickwork, stone work, dry stone walling, supporting walls installed and removed, lintels, steelwork and RSJs, chimneys built and removed, restoration and conservation work, and all domestic and commercial projects.
Apart from being one of the most experienced and professional tradesmen you can find, the team are completely client focused - meaning that what’s important to the client is important to them. They are always mindful and respectful of the client’s property and dreams, turning up on time EVERY time, and cleaning up properly at the end of the day too!
Redman & Redman Ltd are registered with The Government Apprenticeship Service, and the CITB.
